More about Pitch Talk 3.0
The new Client Software Development Kit (SDK) makes it possible to develop clients with customized faceplates or clients that are embedded inside a customer solution. These will still benefit from the central administration and work seamlessly with the Radio Client and Standard Client that comes with the product. The Client SDK supports C++ and Java and includes documentation and samples to get you started.
The DIS/RPR gateway makes it possible to interoperate with a wide range of third party DIS radio. This was demonstrated in the Operation Blended Warrior 2017 at I/ITSEC 2017. The flexible configuration allows you to define radio types, power, channel mappings and more.
The new radio channels add frequency settings where users can tune in any desired frequency, use presets or any mix thereof. Presets can be tailored for different user groups, for example pilots, air traffic controllers, etc.
New features that are important when fielding training solutions with the Radio Client include the ability to control additional features using hotkeys, computer keyboards or other USB-connected hardware. It is also possible to control the default settings when starting up a simulator, for example automatic connection and pre-selected channels.
