Pitch pRTI

Connect and Interoperate

Pitch pRTI™ is a simulation infrastructure that implements the open international HLA IEEE 1516-2010 standard. Pitch pRTI enables you to exchange data and synchronise events between simulators. It is optimized for local deployment in LAN as well as cloud and virtualized deployment. You can monitor and control Pitch pRTI from your desktop, web browser, tablet or smartphone.

Pitch pRTI has the highest performance, best robustness and ease-of-use in the market. The powerful user interface allows you to develop, debug and tune in minimum time and cost. If you are using an older HLA version, Pitch pRTI offers seamless backwards compatibility for gradual transition.

Features

Proven in Major Exercises

Pitch pRTI™ is the worlds premiere commercial RTI. It is used by leading hi-tech organizations like NASA, Mitsubishi, BAE Systems, Boeing, Airbus and Thales. It has been proven in the largest and most advanced international simulations such as the Viking exercises and the NATO NETN projects.

Cloud Compliant

Pitch pRTI™ is easy to deploy in private and public cloud environments such as Amazon Cloud. It fully supports virtualization. Deploy pRTI as a service, manage over the web and utilize resources as needed.

Build a Simulation Enterprise

Need to connect across Wide Area Networks? Together with the companion product Pitch Booster, it is easy to build national training networks or enterprise simulation networks between sites, across nations or even continents.

Performance

Pitch pRTI is the best performing RTI in the market. Update rates of more than 500 000 updates per second can be achieved on standard Windows computers, for standard position (“spatial”) updates of 100 bytes. Latency is less than 200 μs on local area networks.

Robustness

Every simulation expert knows that speed means nothing without robustness. Pitch pRTI has leading fault-tolerance, for example if one or more systems crash during your simulation. Together with Pitch Booster, excellent fault-tolerance can be achieved on unreliable WAN links.

Scalability

Pitch pRTI is used in both small and large federations. It can support hundreds of federates and hundreds of thousands of simulated objects, even on very limited networks. A variety of advanced features, like sender-side filtering and network tuning gives full control to the advanced user.

Advanced Debugging and Tuning Capabilities

Pitch pRTI includes an extensive GUI that allows you to inspect the state of your federation during runtime as well as a powerful set of debugging tools. Use the Control Center to quickly check federate health and identify performance issues in simulators and networks.

Web View Accessible Everywhere

Manage your federation from iPad, Android or regular workstation using a web browser. Inspect which federates that are available, what information that they send and receive, network settings, critical events and more. Assign different rights to monitor and control to administrators and regular users.

One RTI that Supports all HLA Versions

Pitch pRTI supports the HLA Evolved (IEEE 1516-2010), HLA 1516-2000 (including SISO DLC) and HLA 1.3 standard simultaneously. It also supports mixing Windows, Linux and OS X hosts in the same federation.
